Opening Homeschool Op

Accessibility

Homeschool families use different devices, input methods, assistive technologies, and ways of reading and working. Accessibility is part of making Homeschool Op genuinely useful.

Our target

Homeschool Op is designed with WCAG 2.2 Level AA as an accessibility target for public and core product experiences. This is a design and testing target, not a claim of third-party certification or complete conformance.

What we work toward

Keyboard-accessible controls and visible focus states.

Semantic labels and useful screen-reader structure.

Readable contrast, scalable text, and mobile-friendly touch targets.

Reduced-motion support where motion is not essential.

Clear form labels, validation, and understandable error messages.

Layouts that remain usable across common phone, tablet, and desktop sizes.

Tell us when something gets in the way

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, email hi@homeschoolop.co and tell us the page or feature, what you were trying to do, the device or assistive technology you were using if you are comfortable sharing it, and what went wrong. We use that information to prioritize fixes.
