Running a modern family software service requires specialized infrastructure. We publish the core providers that materially support Homeschool Op so families and partners do not have to guess where important processing happens.
Core providers
Supabase — application database, authentication, storage, and server-side application infrastructure.
Stripe — payment processing, subscription billing, and related payment lifecycle information.
Resend — transactional and lifecycle email delivery.
PostHog — privacy-controlled product analytics, performance and product-usage measurement where enabled.
OpenAI — AI-assisted text, image, and transcription processing for supported Homeschool Op features.
How provider access is limited
A provider receives only the information reasonably needed for the service it performs. For example, a payment processor needs billing and transaction information, while an AI provider receives the content and relevant context needed for the AI-assisted request being made.
Provider use does not change Homeschool Op's rule that family and student information is not sold to third parties or shared with advertisers for third-party behavioral advertising.
Analytics privacy
Homeschool Op's analytics pipeline is designed to sanitize events and reduce exposure of family content. Product analytics are used to understand whether the service works, diagnose problems, and improve the experience, not to create advertising profiles for third parties.
AI processing
AI-assisted features may send the prompt, uploaded material, or relevant homeschool context needed to fulfill a request to the AI provider. Homeschool Op's product rules still require parent review for meaningful plan and record changes.
Do not place passwords, payment card numbers, government identifiers, or other unnecessary highly sensitive information into an AI prompt or upload.
Changes to providers
The provider list can change as Homeschool Op's infrastructure evolves. We intend to keep this page current when a core provider materially involved in customer data processing changes.
